Coveted Mass Humanities Grant Awarded to CCMM

CCMM is very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a highly competitive $20,000 grant from Mass Humanities for its “Expand Massachusetts Stories” initiative. The initiative is meant to interpret and share narratives about the commonwealth, emphasizing the voices and experiences that have gone unrecognized.

Grant funds will be used to develop our “Women of the Water” exhibit, set to open in the fall of 2023. Emily Sullivan, the CCMM curator, notes, "This grant will help us bring some fascinating, often untold stories of Cape Cod to life in a really dynamic way for our visitors. We’re extremely grateful for Mass Humanities’ support."
