Testimonials

“For the past ten years, Cape Cod was a location where my family and I always soaked up the summer sun. This summer my father, sister and I were able to add to our very busy beach schedule by participating in the Cape Cod Maritime Museum Rowing Program. We had no boating or rowing experience, but we were welcomed into the rowing program with kindness and patience. Every time we rowed, we were able to make new friends, explore new areas of the Cape, and visit with people we met on previous rows. My family and I formed many great lasting memories filled with laughter and we will cherish those memories for a lifetime. I am truly grateful for the Cape Cod Maritime Museum and its community who organized the rowing program. My family and I are looking forward to more laughs and adventures with the program next year!”

Rowing in Lewis Bay is like entering a serene and enchanting world of its own. The tranquil waters, surrounded by the picturesque beauty of Cape Cod, provide the perfect setting for this extraordinary endeavor. It’s not just a physical activity; it’s a journey into nature’s embrace, where every stroke feels like a harmonious dance with the rhythm of the tides. Having a skilled coxswain by my side enhances the entire rowing experience. Their guidance, encouragement, and expertise ensure that every moment on the water is both safe and rewarding. The sense of teamwork and camaraderie that we share as we navigate the bay together is truly special, forging connections that go beyond the sport itself.
