Rowing
Are you looking to experience the joys of being on the water?
Join us as we row around scenic Lewis Bay, and witness Cape Cod's maritime heritage firsthand! Learn to row in a traditional fixed-seat rowing gig, a traditional small craft. Learn about the marine environment, tides, currents, and weather. All sessions are led or taught by experienced Cape Cod Maritime Museum volunteers. No experience is necessary! Come, have fun, and learn new skills with other rowing enthusiasts.
We are excited to have you!

Our rowing gig is a 27' Whitehall rowing boat, and has space for 4 rowers, and 1 coxswain. We do not row in a racing shell style boat, but rather in a traditional, wooden rowboat with fixed seats.
